specifically regarding the application M3U Easy,
your privacy is our priority.
1. Local Data Processing
M3U Easy is primarily a local desktop application. When you load M3U playlists, XMLTV files, or process
channel lists:
- All processing happens locally on your computer's RAM and CPU.
- We do not upload your playlist contents, URLs, or channel data to our servers
unless you explicitly use the "Cloud Sync" feature (PRO+).
- Your IPTV credentials remain stored securely on your local device.
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data to operate our business and improve the software:
- License Data: When you activate a PRO license, we verify your key against our
merchant provider (LemonSqueezy). This includes your email address and activation status.
- Usage Analytics (Optional): We may collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage
statistics (e.g., "Magic Clean used 5 times") to fix bugs. You can opt-out of this in Settings.
3. Cloud Sync (PRO+ Users)
If you subscribe to PRO+ Cloud, you authorize us to store an encrypted copy of your processed playlist on
our secure cloud servers (hosted in the EU/EEA) for the purpose of syncing data between your devices.
YOU retain full ownership of this data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services for specific functions:
- LemonSqueezy: Merchant of Record for payments and license management.
- Supabase: Backend infrastructure for Cloud Sync.
